The following information is required to submit Automated Export System (AES) Electronic Export Information (EEI). If you are uncertain on how to complete this form, call us! Once your AES has been filed, we will provide an Internal Transaction Number (ITN). Your vehicle will not be allowed to export the USA without an ITN. Complete the form in its entirety to ensure quicker processing.
The AES information you submit below must be accurate. Your AES filing will be based on the information you provide.
The AES filing does not replace the 72 hour title filing requirement by US Customs. Once you receive your AES ITN number, include this number with your 72 hour title notice to the border where you will be crossing.

EIN – (If you don’t have an EIN, apply here. It’s FREE.) AN EIN assigned to the U.S. vendor is required on any vehicle purchased in the U.S. whether the vehicle is purchased from a dealership or an individual. An EIN assigned to the U.S. vendor is also required on all vehicles entering Canada as a gift. The EIN is a nine digit number xx-xxxxxxx. If the vehicle is going to Canada for any reason other than a purchase or gift, then the Canadian passport number of the Canadian importer in lieu of an EIN is acceptable.

Date of Crossing must be the exact date that you will be crossing the border. Must be 72 hours prior to export to leave time for you to do 72 hour notice to U.S. border crossing.

Answer will be either Self-Driven, or Transport Truck. If driving vehicle or pulling on your own trailer, choose Self-Driven. If vehicle is being hauled across border on a commercial carrier, choose Transport Truck.
